The Company – Executive Search Consultant
There are few opportunities out there similar to this one – you will join this start-up business as a researcher, shadowing one of the top performers. The company are small, yet incredibly high performing. The 3 consultants have brought in over £2m in revenue this year alone and have no plans to slow down.
You’ll work across the commodities sector, working with clients in the Oil, Gas, and Finance industries. This comes with very high fees, meaning that you will earn some big money during your time at the company. You will have direct access to the team, and being one of the first hires for them, you will progress quickly and soon have the chance to grow out your own team under you.
The Benefits – Executive Search Consultant
- Starting salary of £30k-£35k depending on your experience
- Quarterly bonus structure, seeing you earn at least £50k in your first year

The Role – Executive Search Consultant
- Shadowing your mentor and learning everything you can about the role and the markets you work in
- Mapping the market – finding all potential candidates for your clients and keeping an ongoing relationship with them
- Interviewing candidates and managing the application process with your clients
- Negotiating the best package for your candidates and ensuring everyone is happy
- Building an online brand and posting content on LinkedIn relevant to your client base
- Consistently updating the company database with clients or candidates that are passive
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree educated with a 2:1 in any area (preferably with aspects of finance)
- Experience working in a customer/client facing role
- Excellent work ethic and positive mindset
- Articulate and confident speaking with a range of individuals on and off the phone
