The Company – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Joining this team is giving you a huge kickstart in your career. The team are the newest within the business, meaning you will have an excellent route of progression to quickly build out and lead your own team. You’ll specialise within the Credit and Private Equity space, focusing on building a client base in the UK and the US.

The training will involve working directly with the company’s top performing consultant, and helping them build out this new division. You’ll have full access to their client base/network, and also access to a recruitment expert who will come and do 1-1 coaching with you.

Although the new team are small, you will be part of a 30-head business, meaning you have all the luxury of working in a ‘start-up’ environment, but with the backing and culture of a booming company. If you’re looking for somewhere progressive, rewarding, and fun, this really is it!

• Starting salary of £25k, rising to £32k within 12 months
• Excellent career progression, with your first promotion in 6 months
• No threshold on commission, seeing you earn on average £55k in year one

The Role – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

• Cold-calling new businesses and winning them as clients
• Attending client meetings and building excellent relationships
• Sourcing candidates through headhunting on LinkedIn
• Interviewing candidates and pairing them with your clients
• Manging the end-to-end interview process
• Negotiating the best salary package for your candidate
• Closing deals and making commission
• Building your online brand and presence, whilst building your network

• Experience working in a customer/client facing role
• Financially driven and excited by the chance to earn over a basic pay
• Ambitious to progress rapidly in your career and manage your own team
• Resilient and able to bounce back from failure to succeed
• Confident speaking to high-level stakeholders both on and off the phone
