The COMPANY – Trainee Recruitment Consultant

This means that as a recruiter, you will always have new clients to work with, and roles to learn about for your candidates. Also, due to the nature of the industry, the high salaries mean that you will generate big numbers for the business and earn good commission off this.
You will come in as a Researcher for your first 6 months here, giving you access to the different specialisms in the company. The 3 core areas are Hedge Funds, Investment Banks, and Private Equity. After 6 months, you will then move over to one desk and specialise under one of the top performing managers in the business.

The ROLE – Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Winning new clients through business development and building long-standing relationships with them
- Candidate sourcing – done through headhunting on LinkedIn, speaking to your network, calling through your database, or advertising for the role
- Managing the interview process from start to end – interviewing candidates, shortlisting them to clients, preparing candidates for interviews, passing on feedback, and negotiating contracts
- Working towards your personal targets – output and revenue
