The COMPANY as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant
You will specialise in the technology field, focusing on sourcing the best talent within cloud and infrastructure. The company are incredibly international, with 45% of its work being in the US, 45% being in Asia, and 10% in the UK. This gives you the chance to travel the world to meet with clients, as well as exposure to how international businesses are run.
The team are small, but entering its scale-up stage, and are looking to hire 5-6 graduates to join the team over the next 12 months. Getting in now offers you an amazing chance to progress quickly, learn directly from the partners of the business, and eventually come to lead your team of researchers within 3 years.

What is the ROLE of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Conducting business development to win new clients
- Attend client meetings and build strong relationships
- Source new talent (often passive) for your clients – done through headhunting, networking, and advertising
- Prepare candidates for interviews
- Managing the application process and scheduling meetings between clients and candidates
- Negotiating the best package for your candidate
- Continuously building your database of potential candidates
- Develop your online brand and build your network
Who is the IDEAL CANDIDATE to be a Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Recent graduate with a 2:1 or above in any discipline
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in speaking on the phone
- Worked alongside education – retail, hospitality, internships, placement year etc.
- Financially driven and looking to earn above your basic pay
- Motivated to build a long and successful career.
