After setting up 16 years ago, my client is a well established search firm specialising in Private Equity, and M&A. With this experience, they bring a plethora of hot desks, with strong existing relationships with some of the most lucrative PE houses worldwide.. Bringing on the best talent in the recruitment world has allowed them to dominate the market and become the number one supplier to these firms.
What is the role of a Principal Recruitment Consultant?
- Advertising roles and headhunting to attract new candidates
- Mapping and maintaining your network
- Cold calling passive candidates to entice them with new roles
- Calling and screening candidates
- Coaching candidates through the interview process
- Managing the on-boarding process
- Managing and maintaining networks between candidates and clients

- Base salary of £55k with discretionary bonus up to 50% of your billings for your first year

Requirements of a Principal Recruitment Consultant
- Proven track record of billings within the PE sector, or a relevant space
- Knowledge of UK/U.S. based PE houses
- Business development experience OR appetite to learn
- Self-motivated with a positive approach to work
- Resilient attitude and able to deal with set backs
- Confident and able to speak to new people regularly
- Financially driven and target focused
