Executive Search Researcher – The Role & You
Executive search suits those who enjoy researching, but also want to work in a client-facing environment. As a researcher some of your responsibilities would include;
- Attending client pitches, creating detailed job briefs, and writing attractive adverts
- Sourcing the best in class talent for your client; this is typically done through LinkedIn and market mapping/research
- Pitching the role to the candidate and assessing their suitability and interest in the role
- Creating detailed longlists and measuring key competencies of each candidate
- Working closely with the client to whittle down the long-list to a short-list with the top 5-10 candidates
- Arrange 1st/2nd and 3rd stage interviews between the client and the candidate
- Taking feedback from both parties and negotiate packages for your candidate
- In tandem with the headhunting process you would also be conducting competitor analysis for your client and providing them with important market intel

Executive Search Researcher – The Requirements
Suitable candidates should possess most, if not all of the following;
- Recently graduated (or due to graduate this year) with a 2:1 or 1st from a top 50 university
- Minimum AAB at A-Levels (or international equivalent)
- Work experience in a professional environment is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
