The Requirements of a Sports Recruitment Consultant
- Recently graduated from university with a 2:1 or above
- OR Strong A-Level results
- Excellent work ethic evidenced by previous work experience
- Excelled in something; sports, drama, music etc
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally
- Self-starter, self-motivated and goal orientated
The Role of a Sports Recruitment Consultant
Once trained by a senior mentor, you will become an expert in your role as a recruitment consultant. On a day-to-day basis, you will be doing the following:
- Finding and qualifying candidates using all the tools and resources provided
- Writing and publishing adverts
- Headhunting ‘A grade’ candidates through various platforms
- Building candidate market maps
- Booking and running candidate meetings
- Lead generation and conversion
- Building relationships with hiring managers
- Establishing your own brand through your own marketing materials
